    @benneves6649 6 дней назад

    They are certainly not sharp to the edge, only about 75% of the field can be considered reasonably sharp. Also they suffer from colour aberrations and the eyepieces cause reflections unless you bury your eyes in the eyecups, which is not possible with glasses. They're reasonably priced budget binoculars but I think this video title is a bit misleading.

    • @44messier
      @44messier 6 дней назад

      Not misleading from my POV. I know the 10x42 and 8x32 are not as sharp to the edge as the 8x42, but with the model I tested I found very little fall off compared to many. I did mention the chromatic aberration and reflection inside the EPs twist cups. I actually found the opposite, as mentioned in the video to hold them away from the eyes a little to reduce the eye cup internal reflection. But thanks for watching and the input.

    👋 First scope, apartment in city center. I can choose between : 1) Celestron 70eq 2) Skywatcher 70/900 eq 3) Bresser Lyra 70/900 eq3 4) Skywatcher evo 90/900 eq2 (yet this costs more as expected). Does any of these prevail in terms of visual quality/optics? Should I prefer mount quality, e.g., Bresser eq3 instead of better optics? Thank you in advance!

    • @44messier

      Assuming you will be viewing from a light polluted area, larger aperture will not give much of an advantage. The 1st 3 you mention are opticall pretty much the same, so depends on which brand appeals to you more
